I’m so sorry to hear about John’s passing. I remember John very well ,he lived across the road from us. He used to come buy with his outfit on and car, trying to help one of Herbs little brothers, who was scared to death of policeman. I know it helped, great neighbour. Marjorie

Sincerest condolences Carole, Chris, Heather, Stephen and to your family members. 🫂 I am sorry that John had such a tough final chapter. I’ll always remember his kindness to the first female officer assigned to 16 Div. way back. I cherish the memories and laughs (there were always laughs!) of when our paths crossed in the years since, especially during the planning for our Oct. 2024 16 Division alumni and friends reunion. Rest easy 261.

I’ve known John for many years as Chris is my son-in-law. I have many memories from family get togethers at their home and Chris & Sherri’s. His sense of humour goes without saying, although it was very quirky at times… He will be forever remembered for his love of family, willingness to help those who needed it, family, friends or those just needing a hand. I will miss his funny, entertaining remarks and just the great man that he was…. Love Bonnie
