Robert John Behan

Suddenly at his home in Cobourg, on Monday, June 25th, 2026, in his 62nd year. Beloved son of the late Keith Behan and the late Beverly Terry,(nee Montgomery). Robert lived life on his own terms, fiercely loyal to his mother and best friend until her loss, old westerns and his team the Boston Bruins. Roberts’ passions were simple, reading the newspaper front to back, and taking time to sit and discuss world affairs with anyone who would lend him their time. Robert shared his father’s enthusiasm for trying to pick the right numbers and if his Irish luck had ever paid off, his plan was to buy a Corvette just like his dad. Robert forged his own path later in life when he lost his parents but was an unstoppable force from then until the moment of his own passing. Family and Friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service on Friday, June 12, 2026 in Cobourg Union Cemetery at 2 pm. If desired donations may be made to the Northumberland Humane Society in Roberts honour.
