Sharon June Broomfield

October 22, 1948 - April 1, 2026

Passed away on Wednesday April 1st, 2026 at the Golden Plough Lodge in Cobourg at the age of 77. Beloved daughter of the late Roy Broomfield and the late Annie (nee Harnden) Broomfield. Cherished sister to the late Arthur (Rosemary) Broomfield, Linda (Arthur) Lansley, Allan (the late Margaret) Broomfield and Wendy Broomfield. Sharon will be lovingly remembered by 10 nephews and 1 niece. Sharon was a member of the Eddystone Baptist Church her whole life. She will be dearly missed by the congregation and community there. The family would like to thank the staff of the Golden Plough Lodge and Dr. Reynolds for their exceptional care of Sharon over the last 12 years.
Visitation will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Thursday April 9th, 2026 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow. A private interment at Vernonville Cemetery will take place.
If desired, memorial donations to the Eddystone Baptist Church or the Golden Plough Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
