Christina Marie Elizabeth Tasch passed away at her home in Cobourg on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, at the age of 53.
Christie was the beloved daughter of Herb and the late Rosemary Tasch, and step-daughter to Linda Petzold. She was a loving mother to Stephanie (Cameron) and Courtney (Colin); cherished sister to David (Cindy) and Angela (Paul); and a dear aunt to Kelly and Danielle. She was also a proud grandma to Jewel, Camson, and Nyla.
Christie will be lovingly reunited with her mother, Rosemary; the love of her life, Doug; and her firstborn granddaughter, Ariah.
Christie held a special love for butterflies, believing they were gentle signs that loved ones are always near. We hold that belief close now, finding comfort in knowing Christie’s love continues to surround us.

My heart filled condolences go out to your family. I was a good friend of Christie from way back when. I babysat both of her kids Courtney and Stephanie. Years ago. I last spoke to Christie about two weeks ago. I am still in shock and very upset. To her kids. Hugs. Know your mother will be missed
