BONNIE VAN DUSEN (Frei) - January 2, 2026

My deepest condolences to Nancy and the family. Keep your memories of Art close and you have many fantastic memories of him. He always had a chuckle for friends and students. As a teacher, he was one of the exceptional ones being a mentor and educator in and out of the classroom. It's with deep sadness that I say to Art RIP.

Maureen McKellar - January 2, 2026

To all the Dalgarnos, Glenn and I are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Art was great fun on staff at the West. I think one of the most memorable situations was the little red car in the foyer of the school. An April Fools day prank that backfired on the students. Art always liked to get the last laugh.

My deepest condolences to his wonderful family. I have great memories of times spent with Mr. D. He knew how to enjoy life and he shared his joy and wisdom with so many people. Whether it was at The West, on a golf course, at a sports venue or a social event, Mr. D’s unique laugh signaled his presence and brought a smile to everyone’s face. His laugh was even louder if he managed to pull a prank on someone. Mr. D was truly a gem.
