Jeff Easson, 64, left this world peacefully on November 28th surrounded by his loving family at Northumberland Hills Hospital after a long battle with cancer.
Son of Carlyn Easson and the late Don Easson, beloved brother to Leonard, Murray (Wendy), Karl (Dori) and Shelley (Rob). Brother in law to Dale (Randy), Lynn (Marie), the late Leigh Mcvety, Debra (Al), Rick (Connie). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A loving husband to Tracey Easson for a wonderful 42 years, Jeff was the pillar of strength and support for his family. Together they raised two daughters: Nicole Kelly (Ian Kelly) and Ashley Minifie (Josh Minifie). They went on to welcome their beautiful grandchildren starting with Payton then Christian, Jack, and ending with Tucker. He was a devoted father, husband and grandfather, our rock, our guiding light, the steady hand that helped shape our lives, always offering guidance, love and support. Jeff loved his family and worked his whole life to make sure everyone was cared for. He was a man of his word who never sugar coated anything. He was one of a kind
Jeff had many passions in life, his love for trucks big and small started as a young child and was inherited from his father. He drove trucks all his life from province to province. They also included snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, tinkering with projects in the shop, hanging with the family and teaching his grandkids all about life.
Funeral arrangements to be made at a later date. In Lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the cancer society (lymphoma) in Jeff’s memory.
Rest in peace, dear father. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever. If love could have kept you here, you would have lived forever.
