Passed away on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, at his home in Scarborough in his 66th year. Peter is predeceased by his parents Paul and “Rilla” Jex (nee Hamilton). He was the brother of Gord (the late Susanne) and Bill (Julie). Cherished uncle to Sam, Kate, Brayden and Mackenzie.
Peter left Cobourg in 1987 to work in Scarborough at Morrison Lamothe Fine Foods where he was a cook for most of his career. He was in his 39th year and contemplating retirement. He will be missed by his cat Max and extended family and friends at work.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. If desired, memorial donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made through MacCoubrey Funeral Home.

I have not seen him in a while....I remember the drives in his brown camaro....his first car....Wayne Hartford and Peter and I were known as the 3 musketeers....I always had hopes of seeing him again....till we meet again Peter Rip.....and so sorry Gord....not a good time for you..God bless
