Island, Kathleen Elizabeth Peacefully at the Streamway Villa Nursing Home in Cobourg on Sunday, July 10th, 2005, Kay Island (nee Cornelius) at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Edgar H. S. Island. Dear mother of Karen Peters (Harold), Paul Island (Karen), Michael Island (Linda), and the late William Island. Cherished grandmother of Robert (Carole), Andrew (Dina), Paula, Meredith (Jason), the late John-Paul, Jody, Carla (Mike), Patrick (Julie), and great grandmother of Dylan, Sarah, Ryan, Hailey. Predeceased by her siblings Florence Fife, Mary Hughes, and Arthur Cornelius. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church in Colborne on Wednesday, July 13th, at 2pm. Interment at Lakeport Cemetery. Visitation to be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 11 King St. W. in Colborne on Tuesday, July 12th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
