Peacefully passed at Ed's House Hospice Friday March 29,2024 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife Marie Pearse (nee Rowden) in 2020. Loving father of Gordon (Carol) Pearse, Shelley (Tom) Kelly, Roy Pearse (Elyn), and predeceased by his son Philip. Dear Grandfather of Meegan (Kevin) Love, Rachael (Sylvain) Darveau, Jason Kelly, Justin (Tara) Kelly and Terri-Lynne (Marc) Lefebvre. Great Grandfather of Akira Pearse, Riley Godin, Danika and Teagan Kelly, and Greyson and Hunter Lefebvre. Dear Brother of Sandra Stanlake (the late Jack). Brother-in-law of late Lorraine (Bill) Fox, late Doris (Metro) Matiyek, Jean (late Al) Riley, and Forrest (late Cindy) Rowden. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and family friends. Thanks to Legion Village, Paramedicine group, VON, Central East LINN group, NHH, Dr. Mule and the Palliative Care Team at Ed's House for making his last days comfortable with their compassion and support. A Private Family Service will be held prior to a Celebration of Life for both Paul and Marie as per his wishes. Celebration of Life to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133, Cobourg, Ontario, April 21, 2024 from 2 to 5pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Center or a charity of your choice.

Our deepest condolences to all the family. Lots of great memories spending time with Uncle Paul & Aunt Marie when they lived in L’Amble, Hastings and Cobourg. Uncle Paul will be missed but he is now at peace with Aunt Marie and Phil. RIP Uncle Paul ❤️

Anne & I wish to express our condolence's to the Pearse Family at this time of loss. We enjoyed many good times when we all lived in Bancroft, and were able to enjoy some visits with Paul and Marie after we moved to Cobourg. I feel privileged to have been a friend of such a fine man as Paul. He will be missed by many.
