Robert Alan Mead

February 23, 1959 - January 15, 2024

Robert is survived by his children, Aaron Mead (Tim), Roberta Mead, Lee Mead, his sisters, June Mead (Ron), Wendy Greenly (Late Doug), his best sidekick Jack the Jack Russell Terrier, his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Robert was predeceased by his parents Merle and Alfred Mead. While Robert left us far too soon and despite fighting his battle with cancer, he never lost his sense of humor or his care and compassion for how others were feeling! He had the great ability to make others laugh and smile. His love for family and friends was so strong! A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Saturday January 27, 2024 from 2 to 4 pm in the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre.

He will be deeply missed!
Forever in our hearts!

Bob's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a caring man. He always made you laugh. He had away to make your day better. He never let on how he was doing or feeling. He always put others first. Bob is not suffering or in pain anymore. Take comfort in each other at this difficult time. Bob will be remembered and missed by all that knew him. He is reuniting with all who went on before him. He is probably telling one of his jokes or pulling one of his pranks. Bob use to work with my husband Bob and they were 2 peas in a pod. They are both pulling one on the big guy right now I bet.

Bobby was like an Uncle to me - he could always make me laugh, we would enjoy looking out in the fields while we got caught up during my visits. Truly a sad day for all of his family, friends and the Alderville Community. You are loved and will never be forgotten. - Shanna
