Dear Anne, Cheryl and family. I am only hearing about Ron’s passing now and want to send my heartfelt condolences. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by many. It sounds like he didn’t suffer which is a blessing. Take care!
Hi Anne and family. I met Ron and Anne when they lived next door to my Mum (Molly) and Dad (Sam/Rusty/Austin) in Cobourg. I used to babysit the kids who are, of course, all grown up, but i had some wonderful interactions with both Anne and Ron. Ron had an amazing sense of humour and he and I shared a common passion of playing tennis later in life. My brother, Wayne and I had a lovely visit and lunch with Ron and Anne, when I was last in Toronto. I am blessed to have those memories to cherish. I am so sorry for your loss ......but please be comforted by his amazing presence and he continues to watch over all of you! Love Ann
On behalf of the NHH Auxiliary, we wish to offer our sincere condolences on the passing of Ron Sargent. Ron, along with his wife Ann, generously offered his kindness and support as a volunteer between 2009-2021. He will be fondly remembered.

We just heard last night and we are sorry that we were not able to attend today's service. Please accept our condolences and prayers. George & Maggie
So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. He was one of my first ever bosses at Marbon Chemicals, Borg Warner Chemicals and finally at GE Plastics. When Glen and I were at the Cobourg Hospital in labour for a long time with our son Steven --not knowing what was happening - he called the hospital and told the person answering the phone he was a parent from that moment on ---we called him Grampa Ron for our first son and our second son Kevin, two years later RIP - Janet and Glen Hynes
So sorry that I couldn’t be there but I was able to stream it. The service was lovely. I text my kids to tell them about Uncle Ron and Travis got back to me telling me that his fondest memory was Uncle Ron was talking like Donald Duck! Uncle Ron would get a chuckle out of that. He certainly had a wonderful, long life and the two of you set such a wonderful example for your kids on what a great marriage is all about. He will be missed for sure but you have so many great memories! Love and hugs to you all.
Sending our love to all, Uncle Ron will be missed for sure. His Donald Duck voice to all of his jokes. RIP Uncle Ron Love Donna and kids
Our deepest sympathy to your entire family.

Dear Anne and Family, Quite simply put I enjoyed and respected Ron and his generous use of gifts on the Y board when the present day facility was being built. George and I also enjoyed your friendship from early sorority days and many socials as well as part of our church family at Trinity. He was quite an active roll model for all retirees too. His legacy is in his family, church and community and lives on. All the blessing and promises of God are Yes and Amen in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has just gone before you to be a part of your greeting in Heaven. Hugs with love in tribute to Ron. Alma and George
To Anne and the family of Ron Sargent. Heather and I were saddened to hear of Ron's recent passing. During our 35+ years in Cobourg we came to know Ron through our mutual involvement at Trinity United Church, and my belonging to the Rotary Club with Ron. He contributed so much to both those organizations and to the entire Cobourg community on so many fronts. Frequently soft spoken, nonetheless, when he spoke the things he said were always worth listening to. He will be missed. Brad Halls, Fergus, Ontario (formerly of Cobourg)
Dear Anne, Cheryl and all the Sargent family, We want to extend to you our heartfelt wishes for your well-being at this time of loss. Ron was a lovely person and he will be missed by many. Anne and Paul
