It is with heavy hearts the family of William Harold “Bill” May announce his passing at the Northumberland Hills Hospital Friday, October 27, 2023 at the age of 81. Cherished husband of 62 years to his wife Betty May (nee Tostik). Loved father of Mike (Lisa). It brings peace to Bill’s family knowing that waiting for his arrival was his beloved daughter, Susan. Bill will be greatly missed by his son-in-law Tim. Proud grandfather to Wyatt (Caroline), Joshua (Andrea), Emilee (Joshua) and Danylle (Shawn) and great-grandfather to Peyton. Bill was a lifetime Cobourg resident and his presence will be greatly missed by his extended family, friends and his community. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the staff at the Northumberland Hills Hospital for your care and compassion for Bill. As per Bill’s wishes cremation will take place and a private family graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
