Christa Ann Purdy

Passed away peacefully, with her son Tim holding her hand, at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on October 5, 2023 following a brief battle with cancer. Christa joins her beloved Bob in God’s eternal light. Christa will always be remembered and loved by her family; Mother, Carol and Father, Geoff (Sheila), her daughter, Nicole (Dan), her son, Tim (Val), step-daughter Jessica (Ryan) and step-son Donnie. Christa cherished her many grand children, Chloe and Abigail, Noah, Jobe, Faith, Cole , River, Finley, Honey and Alexander. Christa will be forever loved by her siblings Mike(Laurie), Wayne(Sue), Joe and Ben, as well as her sister, June. Christa will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and by her many friends. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Christa’s family and friends will cherish her forever. Christa took pride in her work with Christian Horizons where she served her clients by fostering a sense of belonging. Christa was an avid reader who found joy in the theatre. She enjoyed cooking, working in her garden and creating fun projects for her home. Christa found happiness in organizing celebrations and bringing the people she loved together. Her laughter and amusement brightened every room.
