Marilyn, while we’ve never met, I can assure you I’ve heard your name spoken fondly many times by Mark over the few years we worked together at Maple. Mark taught me a great many things. About my workmanship specifically, but also about working on a crew, and managing my own apprenticeship and career. His advice and mentorship was formative and I shall always be appreciative of it. Mark was just an absolute genuine guy. A pleasure to work with, always good for a laugh and a story. It always made a project that much better knowing you were going to get to crew up with Herbacko. I will remember him fondly. Condolences to you, Brad, and the whole family.
It was my pleasure to work with Mark at Cpk for his career there. He was not only kind, caring and generous with his time and expertise, but also willing to jump in with both feet when needed without hesitation. I was always greeted with a big smile and happy words when I entered the shop. Good bye and safe journey to a truly gracious gentleman.
Mark will be missed for sure. Take solace that Mark lived and loved life to the fullest. No one has lived unless they loved and where loved. Mark was blessed by both. My condolences to all that were loved.
