It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Glenn Allan Traynor on September 17, 2023 at the age of 44. Glenn will be forever loved by his Highschool sweetheart and soulmate, Holly Grant whom he shared 29 years of life with. Glenn will be greatly missed by his daughters Hannah and Alyson and bonus children, Maya, Judah and Levi. Loved son to the late Michael and Elaine and brother to Jennifer (John) and Gordon. Loving uncle to Tyler, Heidi, Olivia, Thomas and Zoey. Glenn will be deeply missed by many friends and family, especially his sister wife Uncle Phil, Jon Grant, Jenni Grant. The Castleton Boys, Snowmobile Gang, and his little buddy Brett. Glenn dedicated his life to his family, friends, and helping others. A jack of all trades and an entrepreneur he was not only known for his work ethic, but also for his compassion and willingness to help others whenever needed. An avid fisherman , snowmobiler and life of the party he was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. A Celebration of Life in Memory of Glenn will take place at the Keeler Center, 80 Division Street, Colborne, ON Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 1:00 -4:00 PM. Words of remembrance will be held at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been setup for his daughters at CIBC Colborne 08542 - 7878591.

When we first ment Glen he was in Garde 7 with our son Tom and many new friends Steve,Wes,Josh,Marci,Misty,Holly,Pheona,Melanie,Kevin,Gord and many more I am sure.If they were not there when we went to bed they were there in the morning (through our sons window)Glen was quiet and shy at first but became like family and always welcome in our home anytime.We were Mr and Mrs to bother him as his brotheralways showing us the most respect as any that came in .We drove them to ball games in ball season gave them hugs when needed and answered anything we could when questions came up. We were a safe home to all and a phone call away when rides were needed.Holly and Glen were close friends even then.Glen broke my heart one day when he came in and thank me for allowing him into our home and showing him what a family was.Things that most people take for granted was not always there for everyone.i know he loved his family very much it was his.Glen and Holly were ment to find each other to help heal.I will always hold these memories close and dear as well as all the teens that came into our home gathering more as high school came around .my heart goes out to each of you whom were his friend and for your loss.The husband and soul mate he became the loving father to his beautiful girls and opening his heart to all that needed.love and miss you Glenl

My condolences to your family. I only knew Glenn briefly, while he worked at weetabix/post. Glenn was always smiling and had such a great attitude. He would walk by and say “you’re doing a great job!” Even if he didn’t know what you were doing and it would put a smile on your face. He will be missed.
