It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Knight at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg at the age of 74. Roger was the beloved husband of Diane Knight (nee Beauchamp) for 53 years. Loving father of David and Amber (Tyrone) and grandfather of Scarlet. Roger worked his whole life in Wicklow in the apple industry. After buying out his father James Knight, he worked tirelessly to expand Knight’s Appleden. He bought and sold apples throughout Canada and the US, making Knight’s Appleden a well known and respected name. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
Very Sorry to hear that Roger passed . He was an inspiration to me because of how hard he worked and always had a smile on his face. Roger was truly a good person ❤️ My condolences to Diane , Amber and David. So sorry for your loss. Love Jill Rout

I remember Roger & Diane from school days long ago. I lived on Hwy.#2 just the other side of the village of Grafton & we travelled to school everyday on the same bus. I’m so very sorry to hear of his passing..condolences to the family.
