Unexpectedly passed away on Monday, July 10th in his 57th year. Beloved son of Patrick Raymond Barron and the late Marion Teresa Anderson (nee MacNeil), dear brother of the late Noor Keshavjee (nee Ferne Barron) and Karen Barron. Dear Uncle of Nahid Keshavjee and Safeena Remtulla (nee Keshavjee), and great Uncle to Ameila Noor Remtulla. Lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Rocky’s presence will be missed by family and friends. When he was a young boy he always had a smile for everyone. He was a very talented hockey player, baseball player and in his teens, started writing poetry. After graduation, Pat worked at many different jobs from landscaping to emergency patrol for the ministry of transportation for a season. As an adult he would help out anyone who needed it … even with a place to stay for a day or two. He cared a great deal about animals as well. During his days he provided a delivery service for those within the community who needed it, riding his bicycle back and forth.
Family and close friends are invited to a private, invitation-only celebration of Pat’s life with private interment to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation. We are left with deepen sadden heart the words can not explain . We spent a lot of quality time between the two families. He was love and cherish. This is a shock. I lived beside Pat on Burnham St in Cobourg. He would venture over now and again and would sit and chat with me for hours. I had just had surgery on my leg and was laid up for a year. Pat was always wanting to help me. He was so caring and full of life. He was so kind to my wife Alexis as well. I moved away but would see him in town the odd time. We picked up like two friends should. My condolences to the family. I’ll miss you Pat. May you rest in peace. Alexis and Jeff.
