Peacefully at her home on Saturday July 1st, 2023 in her 51st year. Beloved wife of Chris Murray. Cherished mother of Jack and William. Loving daughter of Evelyn Cote and Rick Reid. Loving sister of Leanne. Lovingly remembered by her best friend Cheryl Lowry. At Tanya's request there will be no visiting or service. A celebration of life will be held Sunday November 12th from 12pm - 3pm at the Port Hope Lion's Centre, 29 Thomas Street, Port Hope. If desired donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

William and Jack, I was so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I have the fondest memories of how proud she was of the two of you 💕
Chris, William and Jack: Tanya was such a loving, caring person who, while placing her family first, extended that attitude to her friends as well. We knew her passing was coming and she fought so valiantly to remain with us. It was a privilege to be a friend of this lady. She lives on in her legacy of love and inspiration for all. Remember, love never dies.

So sorry Chris, William, Jack and family for your loss. Tanya was a beautiful soul, and will be deeply missed. We became fast friends 6 years ago when our boys started playing basketball. I’ll miss our walks, talks, snaps, texts, lunch/dinner dates. One thing for sure is she loved her family fiercely. You have the most special guardian angel watching over you all.
