James Doherty Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, March 31, 2005 in his 70th year. Cherished husband of Ruth Doherty, and father of Patsy March (Emrys), David Doherty (Carolyn), James Doherty (Andrea), Kathy Doherty and Katrina Burton (David). Missed by 8 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Survived by brothers Robert Doherty, Patrick Doherty and Kenny Cole. Predeceased by brothers John Doherty and Carl Cole. A memorial service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, on Monday April 4th at 11am. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 p.m. and on Monday from 10 - 11a.m. For those who wish, donations can be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Choice.
