There are no words to express how much Lynne will be missed. Growing up with Lynne has been a true blessing. She reminded us of the importance of laughing, singing, looking for the best in people and giving of your time and love to others. I believe we will all feel an emptiness in our hearts. I feel comfort in knowing that Lynne is with so many family members, but in particular, my Dad. I am sure they are singing a duet together! Lynne, thank you for teaching us the importance of being there for family and friends; your presence brought so much joy and comfort to my life - your memory will forever be cherished.

It has taken me almost two months to be able to write anything. I still feel in complete shock. Lynne was more like a sister than a lifelong friend. We shared so many experiences, especially in our formative years in Baltimore. There are so many musicians and bands that I associate with her from the Beatles, the Pretenders, the Smiths, CSNY and Joni Mitchell. She was so gifted musically, with the voice of an angel. In coming to terms with this terrible loss I am heartened by reading what so many other people have posted. Lynne sincerely connected with people and was kind, smart and fun. RIP my dear dear dear friend.

As Racetrack Rd. neighbours, I would often meet Lynne and her dog on walks and we always had lovely chats. We sang in choir concerts together and I will always remember her as a warm and caring soul who was just so kind. Lynne was our neighbour and I often had lovely chats when we met on the country road -Lynne with her dog and me out for a walk. We sang together in choirs and I will remember her as this bright light that was so kind and could make you feel like her best friend in no time at all. I am so sorry to Lynnes' family and the millions of peoples lives that were brightened by Lynnes' light. She was one of my dearest friends, my "sister woman" and I took for granted thinking should would be by my side for life. Being with Lynne was pure joy, her energy was beyond words. A simple lunch was a perfect tornado of singing, laughter, pick me ups and quick wit. If a ray of sunshine was a human being it would be Lynne. From the first day I met her I was blown away, she knew everything! Every band or person I mentioned, she could tell me their middle names! We were sisters from those CJs days forward. She was in her 60th year and was as sharp and lively as a 16 year old! She has always been my role model for how she viewed the world. I thought we'd have many many more days to scavenge Omemee for Neil Young and to go to gigs, lunches and fires but maybe in another life time sister. To my dearest friend, I love you!

I am very sorry to hear of Lynne's passing. I am going to miss seeing her walking Jersey in the mornings. I drive school bus and would stop and have a quick chat with her whenever I saw her out there. I just find it hard to believe she won't be out there walking Jersey. It was difficult to write words on Lynne's passing and then soon after, Theresa's. Lynne would laugh at my loss of words as we joked about what talkers we were...it would not be unusual for one of us to have to plug our phone in during our chats after our Screening desk gig ended. Sunday's when Lynne was working at Extendicare, It was the sound of music! She involved a resident to play the piano well she sang. It was absolutley peaceful and beautiful to hear them together. I’m so saddened and shocked while reading this notice. Lynn was always such a bright part of my day when I met her and she always gave the biggest most beautiful smile and hugs. We are shocked and so sorry to hear of Lynne’s passing. I knew Lynne from high school vocal music class. She was one of the kindest and sweetest people and it was so nice reconnecting with her throughout the pandemic when she worked at Landmark as a Covid screener. We had many great chats while I awaited my Covid rapid test results. I know she will truly be missed by many people in this community. I worked with Lynne for many years and she always had the biggest smile. She always looked out for me and taught me everything about becoming a server. We often talked after our shifts about love and boyfriends and the women we wanted to be. I always appreciated her taking the time to invest in my life. I will miss her big heart.

Lynne will always be in our hearts. She was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a great sense of loyalty to family and friends. I have such fond memories of Lynne. She was my high school BFF. I still laugh when I think about our pair’s gymnastics floor routine and we spent one spring break in Toronto bunking in with grandmother in her tiny studio apartment on Queen St. We lost touch after I left Cobourg to attend the University of Toronto but I would think of her often throughout the years and wonder how her life turned out. From the messages, appears her life was full of love and happiness. It was a honor to know her. She made a difference in my life and I will remember her always

I am so very sorry for your loss. Every time our paths would cross she'd always smile and say hi and stop for a quick chat, even though we barely knew each other. She bought Avon from me a couple times years ago, that is how we met. Then during our chat we realized we knew many people in each others lives. When out for a meal with friends she was our server many times and my friends would comment on what a great server she was, as she was so friendly and always made you feel so welcome. She excelled at her job but even more, excelled as a genuinely kind and caring person.
