I am so sorry to hear about Darlene. She was the primary care nurse for my mother for 4 1/2 years. She was so kind to Mom (Mary P.) and all the residents. I know she will be missed by all. I am grateful for her sense of humour in difficult times. She was a compassionate hard worker. We were thankful she was part if our family for those years. Now it is your turn to rest Darlene. It was with great sadness that we learned of Darlene's passing. To Darlene's family and Friends, please accept our heartfelt condolences and we hope that in a small way these words help you through these diificult times. We were fortunate to have met Darlene at Extendicare Port Hope who has been one of the very caring people looking after our Mother. Darlene was a very dedicated, hardworking and just a good person who would go out of her way for the residents in her care. Mom was so lucky to have her in her life even if it was too short. Knowing Darlene, we feel certain that her family and freinds have very fond memeories of their times together and she will live on through those memories. I worked with Darlene for 15 years at Extendicare Port Hope, I cherish the time that we spent together working on the floor with residents she was a valued employee and a friend, she will be missed.

Please accept our family’s sincere condolences on the loss of Darlene. We had the pleasure of knowing her while she provided care for my mother at Port Hope Extendicare. This lady went above and beyond everyday for her clients. Not only did she work tirelessly on her regular shift but she was often relied on for overtime.
