I remember Glenda well in her role at the Derry Byrne Centre. She was always joyful, giving and wanted to go the extra mile to help every teacher. My condolences on your loss. Monica
I am so sad that my friend Glenda has left us. She was one of the finest women I have ever met. She cherished her children. The last conversation I had with her she was weak in voice but so strong in her pride and love of you, Jackie. Glenda and I worked together for many years at the Derry Byrne Teacher Centre. Her knowledge of children’s literature was valued by all teachers who knew her. She was a mentor and friend to all the Library Technicians and they appreciated her guidance. I will miss our conversations, your advice, and your love. Hugs to Jean.
So sorry for loss of Glenda a mother and a sister keep those memories from Allan and Terry Carruthers and family
Our condolences to the Archer families. Dave and Shirley.
I am so sorry to hear of Glenda's passing. I wish I had contacted her but had no idea where she presently lived. We were cousins close in age and knew each other in high school. Helen

Farewell to my good friend and travel partner. You opened your arms to me on my first day at CIHM, way back in 1985. You opened your home to me when I needed a temporary home. You took a newbie traveler under your wing in 1989 on our first of many trips to Britain. We have been through a lot together. You will be missed. I hope you are at peace and giving Jean a big hug! ❤️ My condolences to all the family.
I am saddened to see that you have lost a member of your family. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. I knew that Glenda had quite a career with the RCAF but she was fortunate to have accomplished a lot of other interesting tasks as well. She had a life well lived! The days ahead will be difficult for all of you but know that many of us have you close to our hearts. Coming from a large and loving family you will have a great many happy memories to sustain you. Hopefully knowing Glenda is no longer suffering, and has now joined your parents, will be a comfort to all of you. My love to all of you. Sincerely. Bernadette
