Our husbands worked together. Every New Year's Eve, the guys in their department and us wives would take turns hosting a New Year's Eve party. Loads of fun, dancing and ringing in the New Year. Last summer, at Rosewood where Helen lived, at their outdoor Carnival, we all eagerly tried the games, with prizes being money certificates to use later to buy prizes displayed or auctioned off. Helen sure was winning her share, throwing darts at balloons with certificates in them. Loads of fun and food. We all did well. God Bless!!

Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Remembering we played together at Baltimore School and I think at the church as well. My mom has been gone about 7 years and I still miss her everyday. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time(Lorraine and family).
