Peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Colleen (nee Turcotte) for 51 years. Loving father of Dwayne (Trisa) and Trevor. Cherished grandfather of Evan, Andy, Kody, Kayne, Kiefer and Kashton. Dear brother of Lise Labrosse Delarosbil (Andre), Susan Vosdingh, Villette Berube (Rob) and Daniel Berube (Lynn) and brother-in-law of Marilyn Elinesky (John) and Carol Turcotte. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and his best friends Mel and Bill Hodges. Andre was a retiree of G.M. where he worked as an electrician for 30 years. He was an avid golfer and dart player. Andre was president of Port Hope Legion Branch 30. He was a devoted member. He had many friends over the years and was loved and respected by all. A celebration of Andre’s life will take place at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Azzoparti, Dr. Mulé and all the nurses and staff of Northumberland Hills Hospital for their incredible care. Donations to Port Hope Legion Branch 30 or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
Andre was a true gem. Another Great guy lost from this terrible disease!! Rest in Peace Andre!
I worked with Andre for a few years in the Car Plant. He was an exceptional tradesmen and an exceptional person. He and I enjoyed each others company very much. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

My sincere condolences to Colleen and the family. Andre was a wonderful guy. I worked with him at GM and later on we would meet again in the Port Hope Legion. Andre was our President at the Legion and very proud to be. Andre always made himself available for any request I had relating to the annual golf tournament. He was a good friend and will be greatly missed.

Colleen and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Andre was such a nice man. We had lots of great times bowling together on the Thursday night league .
