Ed, I had the pleasure of meeting Kim several years ago in Virginia. After that, we shared the joy of laughter and late nights sewing on snaps and a crazy run for pizzas, and she sneakily took a snapshot of me sacked out on a porch swing and posted that sucker on FB. She was a great friend. Like others, I was struck by her love for you and for the love you showed her. She was so proud of you and of the new home you were building together. I will miss her so much. My heart grieves for you and your family, and I send you wishes for peace and healing.

Ed, we cannot begin to imagine how much you are hurting. We know that you loved Kim so very much and that you were her best friend. We hope that you will find comfort in the knowledge that you were a great husband to her, and that she knew how much you loved her. Although we hadn’t known Kim for long, we learned to appreciate her energy no matter how unwell she felt. She suffered so much this past year but loved her new home. Your devotion to her, Ed, was remarkable. Remember that you are now part of a caring community that are willing to help in any way you need.

I'm very sad to hear this news. Kim was a friend of mine via our doll collecting community of friends. She will be missed by all of us in the doll world and on the online chat forums where our mutual love of collecting was shared.

Oh my heart breaks reading this!! Kim was an amazing friend while we attended Willis College together. Always a great chat when running into each other years late. My deepest condolences to her entire family thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Rest in Peace Kimmy
