It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sandra Ann Jones. Sandra passed at home surrounded in the love of her family on January 12, 2022 at the age of 71. Beloved wife to Wayne Jones for 52 beautiful years. Cherished mother to Jennifer and Brent. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Dorothy and Meredith Amm and daughter-in-law to pre-deceased Harry and Myrtle Jones.
Sandra enjoyed a career in the banking industry for many years and always looked forward to interacting with her colleagues and customers.
Sandra spent many hours at the Colborne Arena as an active member of the Colborne Figure Skating Club. She shared many fond memories with her dear friends Louise Rusk and Sharan Landon preparing for carnivals and other skating campaigns. Sandra enjoyed painting, gardening, and had a real love for animals, particularly those of the feline species. She and husband Wayne enjoyed a trip to Las Vegas and an Alaskan cruise creating enough special memories to last a lifetime
In keeping with Sandra’s wishes, there will be no service at this time. Cremation has taken place and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Castleton Cemetery.
We are very sorry to learn of Sandra’s passing. Always an absolute pleasure seeing her at the credit union or whatever we crossed paths afterwards. She was a wonderful person. Sending our condolences. Paul and Anita

So sad and very sorry to hear that that Sandra has passed away. In all of the years I have known her I never ever saw her in a blue mood. She was always upbeat and happy. My sincerest condolences to all of you.
