Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Tuesday January 11th, 2022 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Onofrio Panepinto. Loving mother of Tony (Margaret), Joseph (Debbie), Carmelo (Brenda), Anna Maria (Paul), Paul (Sharon) and the late Mario (Lea). Cherished grandmother of 26 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Pre-deceased by her brothers and sisters in Italy. Visitation will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home , 30 King St., E. Cobourg on Sunday January 16th from 1-4 pm. All visitors must RSVP at maccoubrey.com to attend the visitation. Each time slot will be 30 minutes. A private family Mass will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Monday January 18th at 10 am. A public graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery following the Mass. If desired donations may be made to the Northumberland Hills Hospital.
I am taken back by your loss and have thought about the Panepinto family often while living in western Canada. I grew up with Tony, Joe, Carmelo, Anna, as welcoming neighbours on the farm in Colborne and have many fond memories. Hopefully I will get back to Ontario and try to track down the clan again. Again My Condolences my former neighbours, friends, and the entire family.
