Lynda Skitch Oliver - January 11, 2022

So the story goes that George and Jim first met in grade 9 at CDCI West - in detention - where they bonded over their mutual love of sports and went on to play ball together for decades. When the Orphans played in Victoria Park hundreds of spectators came out to cheer and jeer. It was the heyday of Ball in Cobourg and Jim was a star on the mound. But despite those exciting 15 minutes of fame, I believe that the best thing that ever happened to Jim was you Laura. My sincere condolences to you and to Judy, Brian and Allison. Hugs to all his family. Lynda
