Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Ajax with his family at his side, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Yvonne (nee Bynoe) of 53 years. Loving father of Laura. Proud grandfather of Griffin and Kirsten. Loved son of the late Evelyn and Edward Mottershead. Brother of Marilyn Allton, Judith McKee, the late Charles and the late Robert. Remembered by his nieces and nephews. A dear friend of many. Former Ontario Court Deputy Registrar. A service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Saturday January 15, 2022 at 1:30 pm, with a visitation prior to the service from 1 to 1:30. All of those wishing to attend the service must R.S.V.P. at www.MacCoubrey.com. If you are not able to attend, a live stream of the service will be available on the funeral home website. Memorial donations in Clive's name may be made to a charity of your choice. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date.

Our dear neighbor Clive may no longer be with us but we know he lives on. We love you Clive and promise to keep our grass green :). A true gentleman.
Clive was the best Uncle. He always took the time to ask us how we were doing, what we were up to. He genuinely showed interest every time we saw him. He was always so well dressed and smelled the best. He wore the most wonderful shirts. Yvonne might’ve had something to do with that! Clive was the kindest most caring uncle I’ve ever known. We are truly going to miss him. RIP Uncle Clive.

So sad to be writing this but so glad to say that Clive enjoyed a full life surrounded with family and friends near and far. Annual trips to the Manship cottage and to Barbados were highlights that enabled him to enjoy time fishing on the lake and the magical nightlife of a tropical isle. He was easygoing and engaged all he met in conversation. And, oh, did he love to dance! I shall miss you my friend. Condolences to the Mottershead family all who knew and loved him.
