After a brief illness at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Sunday December 19, 2021. Pre deceased by her parents Ken& Vera Hircock (nee Stevenson) and her partner Paul Hasson. Worlds greatest mother to Chris (Gerri), Shelley (Jake) and Kelley (Daryl) and step mother to Brent, Shauna and Brook. Beloved Nana to 11 grandchildren. Pat will be dearly missed by her sister Brenda (Rick) and brother Keith (Noreen) as well as her niece and nephews. Fondly remembered by her lifelong friend Donna Bevan. Pat was a devoted mother and cheerleader to her family and friends. Her legendary ‘Nana Knits’ have been worn for decades by many. If it could be knitted, it was. Maker of the best jams and preserves in this county, and former owner of Amanda’s Restaurant, where she met many friends who became family. Pat was loved greatly and touched many lives. She would give you anything she had if she thought you needed it, especially her love and time. If you were fortunate enough to know her, you were very lucky. Mom, we couldn’t have loved you more. I will never forget Pat's kindness to me. When I had to move, she volunteered herself and family members to help which they did so unselfishly and I couldn't thank them enough! I will always remember her, and Paul as well, with great appreciation and affection. So sorry to see this and she was a truly generous and loving spirit.

I remember one time when her and Barry were just dating and they took Barry's younger brother Gerry and I to the drive in and when the cashier leaned into the window she told Barry that was one adult and three children and Pat let her have it that's TWO adults and two children. She may not have been big in stature but she was a force to be reckoned with.
