I will always cherish our times together at your cottage on Rush Lake, snowmobiling, sailing and competing in various races all over southern Ontario. Meeting for an occasional lunch when you worked for Russell Food Equipment, our annual trips to Cobourg with Rick and you treating us to some of the best wild game dishes I’ve ever experienced. Most of all I’ll miss just hanging out together and having a lot of laughs. Jim you lived your best life !!
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. We will surely miss all of his email. Our prayers are with you and your family. Terry and Lorna.
I crewed for Jim at Bronte Yacht Club for over 25 years, we always had many laughs. I will miss him and think of him often, a true gentleman!
Jim will be sadly missed by his poker buddies. His dry humour was always appreciated by me and his love for his aeroplanes and, of course, his love for his dog, Charlie, was evident with the stories he told about both. He was kind and considerate and will be missed.
I knew Jim for a brief time at Bronte Harbour Yacht Club. An avid and exceptional sailor, racer and gentleman. He always had a smile-especially when he was beating you out on the race course. My condolences to the family.
Condolences Jim and myself loved to exchange jabs and Bella will miss his treats.
Our Tucker is a lazy boy, but he sure could move when he saw Jim at the dog park. A gentle and kind man- Jim will be missed. Tucker thanks you for the treats.
"Gentleman Jim" - one of the most thoughtful, kind humans I have known - and with a wicked sense of humour. We will miss him - but are glad to have known him, and Charlie.
On behalf of the Pine Ridge Flyers model club, we send our condolences to Jim's family. He was a great member to the club, and kept everything in order. You will be missed Jim, Rest in Peace.

I cherish all the memories I have with you and our 11am crew at the park. Willow adored you as I did. Rest in peace my dear friend.
So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I only met him a few times and he was an incredible man. Jim took a puppy I was rehoming, Charlie, and kept me updated for several years. I’m so happy to know of the love and amazing life Jim gave Charlie and of the companionship and love Charlie gave him in return. My condolences to his family and friends.
Our sympathy Martine to you & your family.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you the Family. Jim is now with Beth.
Thank-you Jim and Charlie for always being a great help at the Cobourg Dog Park. Jan and Ruby really appreciated it. RIP
We will so miss Jim at the Cobourg Dog Park. He was a founding member of CADDOG, the dog group and there wasn't a dog in the place that didn't love Jim and his famous treats! Jim was knowledgeable on many subjects and liked to discuss current affairs, we so enjoyed his wit and comments! He was a true delight and it will not be the same there without him. Rest on, Jim Jan and Ruby
Jim was an amazing friend and I will truly miss him.
