Murphy, Vernon Arthur Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Friday, January 21, 2005, Vernon Murphy at 82 years of age. Loving husband of Rose Murphy (nee Williams). Dear father of Joanne Hough (Brian), Harry (Lynne), John (Mary), Marie (Ron Struys), Patricia Matthew Marosszeky), Vernon, Robert, and the late Bryan Murphy. Cherished grandfather of Christine, Craig, Paul, Lisa, Jeffrey, Katherine, David, Patrick, Kenneth, Catherine, Marika, Luke, and great grandfather of Joshua, Jenna, and Aidan. Brother of Evelyn, Earl, and predeceased by eleven siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Church in Cobourg (Corner of University and Division St.) on Tuesday, January 25th, 2005, at 10 am. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Grafton. Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 24th, from 6 to 9 pm. Parish Prayers to be said at the funeral home on Monday evening at 8:45 pm.
