Wanda Andrews June 25, 1948 – April 28, 2021
Dennis Andrews Oct.16, 1945 – September 10, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Andrews on Friday, Sept. 10th at the age of 75. Dennis was predeceased by his wife Wanda in April of this year.
Dennis and Wanda would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on September 3rd. They met while working at Woolworth’s in Toronto in 1965 and spent a lifetime balancing each other out.
She loved to cook, he loved to eat.
He made jokes, she laughed (at most of them).
She was sweet, caring, warm, patient and kind, he was…Dennis.
They shared their lives with cherished and pampered dogs Caesar, Trapper, Charger, Sundance and Tango.
Dennis had a lengthy career as a ‘car guy’ working for Chrysler, Nissan and Mazda. He travelled all over the world and his job moved them to many parts of Ontario, Halifax and Vancouver. Sit down next to Dennis and you were sure to get a lengthy and wild story about his car days. Dennis was the ultimate good-time Charlie.
Dennis and Wanda leave behind his brother Les (Judi), nephew Ryan, niece Kristin, beloved dog Tango and many cousins and friends across Canada.
Wanda is survived by her sister Virginia, niece Kelly and nephew Kyle (Lindsay).
The Family is so thankful to have spent the last few months with Dennis and wish to thank Dr.Mark Azzopardi, Dr.Mule and the many nurses and staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital. Thank you for your patience and composure while working under the direction of Dennis.
Dennis and Wanda were animal lovers, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Northumberland Humane Society.

I am so sorry to hear about Dennis, passing, I had just spoken to him about the passing of Wanda, so hearing of his death is, to say the least, shocking. To the family I offer my condolences on the passing of a very nice person, but at least we know that he is now with Wanda forever. Mike Benchimol
I will wure miss both of my godparents. Wanda & Dennis, I loved when Auntie Wanda would talk about the dogs & Uncle Dennis. I'm sorry to hear of his passing & I miss them very much. I know in heaven Auntie Wanda is making my Uncle Dennis her homemade pizza. Miss you both. Love Kellie
