Peacefully at Victoria Retirement Living in Cobourg on Thursday, July 8th, 2021, Margaret Hare (nee Staples) at 95 years of age. Beloved wife of the late William Arnold Hare. Loving mother of Diane Hare, Marie Wilson (Barry Ferguson), Keith Hare (Donna) and Bernice Arrington (Craig). Cherished grandmother of Paul Turnbull (Angela), Amy Wilson (Andy), Andrew Hare (Christina), Nathan Hare, Ashley Shoniker (Nic), Raymond Arrington (Emily) and great grandmother of Jacob, Kaleb and Ivy. Predeceased by her sisters Doris and Muriel. A private family graveside service will be held at Cobourg Union Cemetery. A sincere thank you to the staff at Victoria Retirement Living, Dr. Cunningham, Dr. Essak, and the St. Elizabeth Caregivers. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Diabetes Canada or a charity of choice.

So sorry to see that Margaret is no longer with us. She was such a Beautiful Lady. She always had a smile for everyone. Aunt Marg was a major figure in my life growing up, a warm loving person and fantastic cook.
Aunt Marg was a special lady. She always made time for people. I loved chatting with her about family. Her ancestors and their stories were important to her. We have a bit of Staples/Hare heritage in our yard - the white lilac trees (my favourite) that Aunt Marg allowed us to take from the farm years ago. You have a special place in our hearts, Aunt Marg.
