Will always remember this I was at Jack and Elaines one day ,Jack and I were on the front lawn one when this fellow pulled in and came acrossed the lawn, Jack knew him but hadn’t seen him for quite a while I guess, and he said what’s wrong you look like your just barely hanging on, and the guy said I am I’m just getting over a stroke or heart attack , Jack looked at me and said o I’m sorry. Just a memory. Until we meet again so long.

Gord and June Minifie - May 9, 2021

Sorry to here this Elaine and family.Condolences.Loved doing carpenter work for you and Jack, down on daignault road and over at farm.Jack was always so quick witted and funny.Have and will miss him.

Simonsen family - May 8, 2021

Our condolences to Elaine and family on the passing of Jack. We always enjoyed our visits so much and the stories and knowledge that Jack imparted on use. Yes, Jack could tell a story, but he was equally an exceptional listener. I can picture him at the kitchen table engaging our boys when they were quite young with all types of questions with Jack maintaining eye contact and grinning at their answers. It worked. For when we got home, the boys would break out the toy farm animals and then argue over who got to be Jack. On my last visit with Jack I asked him how he met my father. It was a great story that went back near sixty years and a simple act of kindness. Like everyone else, we’ll miss the stories, the knowledge, the kindness, and the grin that he shared so freely. He was good one. Paul, Anita and boys

Elaine and Daignault family: Sincere condolences on your loss. Jack was a great favorite of my father, Doug (another unconventional man who would have been out standing in his field). Never forget the time we took home a cute baby chick - not long before it went back to the farm.

Joanne & Yvon Lauzon - May 6, 2021

Our thoughts and prayers reach out to the Daignault family at this sorrowful time. We used to be neighbors and enjoyed Jack's visits when he'd visit my Dad, Bill and have sheep 🐑 talk. God Bless!

Ian and Jacquie Halligan - May 5, 2021

Elaine and family We were so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. He was a great role model for our son Riley. From the time he was a young boy he enjoyed driving past the fields filled with sheep. He would sit perched by the car window looking across the fields. Always knowing someday he would have his own fields filled the same way. Jack will always be remembered by our family for his guidance and patience he showed to a young man just starting out. Our thoughts are with and if there is anything we can do let us know.
