Lynda Noiseux died gracefully at home, surrounded by her loving husband and four children, on Wednesday January 13, 2021. She was 72.
After a full and rich life, Lynda emerged from her struggle with ALS, as if from a chrysalis. Her presence and memory are deeply cherished by her husband of 38 years, David, her children Erin (Troy), Katie (Evan), Ben (Natalie), and Josh (Janita), her beloved grandchildren Lily, Tate, Ursula, Evelyn, Ida, and Alden, her extended family, and her sisterhood of dear and supportive friends.
Born and raised in Port Hope, Lynda returned to settle with David and her four children in 1983. Her home was a warm and welcoming gathering place, and her generosity is fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her creative pursuits included entrepreneurship, collecting, interior decorating, and expert grand-mothering.
Lynda was an angel with still-growing wings. Now at last, she is in flight.
We invite the community to celebrate her life privately until such time as a public memorial can be organized. Memorial donations can be made to the MS Society of Canada.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
To Dave,Erin,Katie ,Ben,and Josh and your families, I thought I left a message earlier but here it is: Lynda Gayle was my fiend for 58 years and I was shocked when she died because she wasn’t returning g my texts. We went through a lot of passages together or simultaneously. I was privy of a lot of her thoughts of her family which she loved. I am blest that I knew her❤️
