I just want to send another message to my dear dad. God created earth & everything on it. But on December 22nd 1920 he created a very special person who has been an inspiration to many who love and miss him very very much..Dad you are in my heart forever. It is very hard not being able to hold your beautiful hands and tell you how much you are loved. Thank you God 🙏 for the dad you created for us. Love your daughter ❣️💕❤️❤️
The fact that you're gone hits me at the most impossible of times and its hard to believe every time. Papa, you were, and will always continue to be, sunshine in my life. Thank you for all your kindness, memories, and love. You will be sorely missed, always.
To Dorothy and Family, My sincere sympathy in Emerson's passing. We worked together for many, many years from 1963 on. A fine gentleman with a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
My true inspiration always and forever. Papa you will be greatly missed. Love always Heather
To a wonderful man; who wise liked and admired by a great many people as I know by attending your record breaking GM retirement party. If the world had more people in it like you dad it would be a much kinder, loving place. Thank you for being such a wonderful example in my life. Your loving son David. xoxo
I am so proud to call Emerson my father-in-law, he was one of the most meek, loving, smart and kind gentleman I have ever met or am bound to ever meet again. They just don't make men like him anymore. The love and respect he had from his family was just a given. The joy he got from his grandchildren and they from him was such a pleasure to see. His unconditional love he had for his loving wife and his own children was unbreakable. He always had a huge smile and funny little gesture for his great grandchildren. I will never forget the very wonderful relationship that we had. I could have never asked for more!! I will see you again my dear, dear man. Sleep now, til we meet again. Love you always Lynn. xoxo
To my dear Dad. I am going to miss you so much. You are the love of my life and will always be in my heart. We have had a lot of laughs and stories while you were in the Golden Plow. I will miss seeing your face and holding your hand. I love you so much your loving daughter

I am so saddened to hear of Emerson's passing. I always loved our visits when he came in to the shop for his haircut. Though I hadn't seen him in quite awhile I thought of him often. Much love to Dorothy and his family as you say goodbye to a dear sweet man.
