Sylvia Glazer Rintoul

March 13, 1961 - December 19, 2020

On December 19, 2020, Sylvia left this world to join her beloved husband John Rintoul for their next adventures. Sylvia leaves her son, Mathew Hodel, (Victoria), sisters Carla Nemeth (Dan), and Liz Hannah, (Don), stepdaughters Laurie Rintoul, Suzanne Rintoul and Robin Rintoul, grandbabies Michaela, Delaney, Charlotte, Tristan, Nora and James. Sylvia was made of magic, sparkles, love and joy. A celebration of her life, with bubbles, glitter, laughter and Annie Lennox music will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank everyone on Sylvia's team at St. Michael’s Hospital, we know she made you laugh! We would also like to thank the countless people that showed their love and support through this difficult time, particularly the neighbours on BMC. Donations may be made in Sylvia's memory to St. Michael’s Hospital or the Northumberland Humane Society. Love and light.

My heart goes out to Sylvia's family. I was lucky enough to know Sylvia for many years. She was a mentor and a best friend. Sylvia gave the best hugs and to this day the smell of patchouli brings me right back to her. You never know how much a person filled your life until they're gone. Sylvia you may be gone from this earth but you will forever be in my heart. Be at peace and play your tambourine while dancing amongst the stars. Love you my friend.
