Passed away peacefully at Ed’s House - Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in Cobourg, Ontario on Wednesday October 28th, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of Peter (Nelly Keuning), Jim (Corinne), and daughter-in-law Joanne Wopereis (Bill Bascello). Proud Oma of Ryan (Alicia), Theresa Krepelka (Mike), Brian (Dana), Marty (Susannah), Marissa de Graaff (Martin), and the late Rachel Wopereis. Great Oma to Dusten, Aryanna, Annabelle, William, Caleb, Blake and Henry. A private Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg. Memorial donations may be made to Ed’s House - Northumberland Hospice Care Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
So sorry Peter, Jim and family for your loss. Nellie was a wonderful person. We had many Saturday morning laughs over a span of almost 40 years. Jim and Linda Wong

I’m sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I loved hearing her speak of her life and the joy in her voice when she spoke of her family.
