Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, Ontario on Saturday February 15th, at the age of 87. David was the beloved husband of Ann (nee Coleman), the proud and loving father of Blair (Maria), and the much missed uncle of Kelly (Charlie) and Mitch Coleman. David was born in Coventry, England and enjoyed a long career working in various aspects of the travel business: Pan American Airlines (Toronto), and Intercontinental Hotels and Orient Express while living in the U.K. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Dear Ann and Blair,I was so sad to learn of David's death. It has been a long time since we have all been together, but I remember him so fondly, his wonderful laugh and sense of humour and his great kindness. I feel so lucky to have known him and you through your friendship with Mum and Dad (who have both passed on, Dad in 2006 and Mum in 2018 at 97)Please let me know the plans for the celebration of life, if it would be appropriate for me to attend.
