Peacefully with his family by his side at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday December 25, 2019 at the age of 79. Long time troop scout leader at 1st Cobourg St. Peters, volunteer at Royal Canadian Legion and St. Peters Church. Survived by his wife Mary of 56 years and son Douglas. Pre-deceased by his daughter Carol. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 1-3 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133, Cobourg. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 133 Poppy Fund would be appreciated.
