The Stevensons - December 17, 2019

We were so sad to hear of Paul's passing. My boys, Carter and Gavin, rode on Paul's bus from Kindergarten to Grade 8. He was absolutely the best bus driver in the world! The boys are now in their twenties, and we still share stories about how Paul would pull the bus over so all of the kids could watch a family of ducks waddling down the road. Or the time he drove back to the house to drop off a forgotten backpack, AFTER all of the other kids were safely delivered home. Paul is one of those kind souls who made a difference in children's lives, and we are better people for having known him. Kind thoughts to Paul's family. We are very sorry for your loss.Vanessa

He sounded like a very caring individual. Thinking of you and your family right now. Take care, Kathleen

Jan Bangs - December 11, 2019

Dear family,I am very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of chatting with Paul when he delivered the students to Grafton PS. What I was amazed at was how happy the students were when they got off the bus and I discovered it was due to Paul's affection and genuine care he had for them and for life. He knew all by name, making little jokes and adding smiles to brighten their day. A great gift to give someone else each day, and Paul did that. Then I received the same smile, a joke or something to make me laugh. He was well respected and the children enjoyed having him as their bus driver. I will remember him with fondness. He made the world a better place.

Elisabeth Stum - December 10, 2019

Dear Jo Ann, Lee Ann, Darlene, Kirsten, and families. My heart is heavy and sad as I share in your sorrow and grief. Paul was one of a kind. He was a family man, so kind, had a big heart, an infectious laughter, always ready to offer and give advice, and willing to lend a helping hand. He was the best brother a sister could have. I will forever love him and will dearly miss him, especially his vibrant humour. Whenever I use my Hawaiian mug, I will think of Paul. May God bless you all. With love, Elisabeth
