Awww Shelley, I just read about your dear Mom’s moving on to her Heavenly home. I know it has been a trying time of recent years for you, but take comfort that she is now singing with the angels ... how I enjoyed hearing her lovely tunes each evening as we shared the same hospital room. You warned me about her unusual “salty” language towards the nursing staff, and I did hear “those” words, but I believe I also witnessed Susan’s true self/soul when she would sweetly smile and nod her head at me, when I spoke to her! How I loved seeing the sweet, caring interaction between your Mom and Dad when he visited!Shelley, you were such a loving, faithful daughter to your Mom, and furthermore,I truly appreciate our friendly chats during those long weeks when I shared a room on the Rehab. floor of NHH.Take care dear!Sending hugs and God Bless, Donna Jacobs-McCourt (donangelz@outlook.com)

Our sincere condolences on Susan's passing. We will miss our visits in the cafeteria at the hospital with her and Shelley. About a week ago she saw mom and I coming from the parking lot to the entrance of the hospital and she started waving from the side window. Mom and i will treasure that memory. It was a pleasure to spend time with her and Shelley. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
