It is with deep sadness, and yet a hope for eternity that we announce the passing of Betty Couch. Beloved wife of the late David Couch (1997). She was the cherished mom of Daryl Couch (Penny), Lori Pratt (Mark) and Jacqueline Driver (Bruce). Her grandkids, Josh Pratt (Angela Salamanca), Keri Pratt, Ashley Schmutz (Jeremy), Wesley Couch, Hannah Driver, Mitchell Driver and great grandkids, Titus, Francis and Winry Schmutz were her pride and joy and she loved them with her whole heart. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Edith Bartsch. Mom was the baby of a family of eleven. She leaves behind her beloved brother Lyle Bartsch (Glady), and is predeceased by Ernest, Olive (Harold), Rita (Ralph), Ruby (Wesley), Frankie (Harold), George, Gerald (Carmel), Bernice (Mervil) and Freda (Percy). She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her lifelong best friend Phyllis Reed and the Reed family and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and family. Visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King Street East, Cobourg on Thursday November 21 from 5 – 8 p.m. and Friday, November 22nd from noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Reception Centre. Interment will take place at Mount Albert Cemetery 19675 Centre Street, Mount Albert on Saturday November 23 at 11 a.m. In tribute to mom and dad, we ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society or the A.L.S.
