It is with heavy hearts that we announce Scott's passing on Monday November 4, 2019 at the age of 56. Loving son of Ross Derry (June) and the late Shirley Derry. Awesome brother of Judi Groeneveld (Randy), Kathy Gilbert (Dave) and Garth Derry (Pam). Father of Jamie Derry (Ben). Proud grandfather of Penelope and Felix. Special uncle to 10 nieces. He will be missed by many friends. A Celebration of Scott's Life will be held on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Kelly's Homelike Inn (Upstairs) 205 Third Street, Cobourg. It broke our heart to hear of Scott's passing. We have many pleasant memories of him being dad's roommate at the hospital. We have your family in our hearts and prayers and will always remember what a nice man Scott was. He was taken way to soon from your family and the world. I’m truly deeply saddened by Scott’s passing. I always really liked him and had a very soft spot in my heart for him. He was a great brother in law and the years that we spent working together were good ones. He will be missed.
