Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Monday, October 29th, 2019, Bill Kirkwood at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of Patricia Kirkwood (nee McGarry). Loving father of Roy Kirkwood (Karen Wylie), Amanda Kirkwood (Karen Binch), the late Billy Kirkwood (Linda), and step-father of Michael Long (Elizabeth), Garry Long (Christine). Cherished grandfather of Jenna (Alan), Kris, Leah, Riley (Chantel), Liam, Katie, Sarah (Dave), Amanda (Jason), Christopher (Carly), Jennifer (Craig), Hollie (J.D.), and great grandfather of Avery, Shaylynn. Dear brother of Roy (Carol), the late Tom (Sally) and Sister Gloria (Eddie). Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. on Thursday, November 21st at 1 pm. Reception to follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to Northumberland Hills Hospital Palliative Care.
