Elsie Edith Morton

May 3, 1921 - October 11, 2019

Beloved wife of the late Allan, in her 99th year, passed away peacefully on October 11th.  Loving mother of Donald (Sally), Barbara (George), Douglas (deceased), Brenda (Ruth) and Bruce (Jane).  Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  The family wish to thank the wonderful staff at Legion Village, especially Connie and the very caring PSW’s for their compassion and loving care. They went above and beyond with the care they gave to our Mom.  We would also like to thank family and friends for visits, etc. as well as Central East CCAC and the Hospice caregivers.  A service to celebrate Elsie’s life will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Tuesday October 15th, 2019 at 1pm, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow in the MacCoubrey Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Legion Village or to Rural Faith United Church. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com
