Peacefully at his home in Vernonville, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Alice. Loving father of Wilfred (Sam), Jane (Rob) Koopman and Terence (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Nick (Marcia), Sara, Marc, Paul (Ashley), Kyle (Colleen), Sierra (Ryan) Madison (Andrew) and Abby. Dear great grandfather of Alivia, Zach, Lillian, Gretchen and Mason. Brother of the late Marie (the late Lute), the late Tine (Sjerp) and Ultsje (Antsje). Al will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Eddystone Baptist Church on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
