Howard Foster passed away peacefully at his home in Cobourg in his 81st year. Devoted husband of Margaret (nee Williams) of 48 years. Predeceased by parents, Richard and Alice Foster and siblings, Dorothy, Phillis, Bruce, Marion, Marjorie, Raymond, Allen, Doris and his foster parents, William and Laura Smith and foster brother, Lyman Smith. Loving foster brother of Beth [Robert Vernon], brother-in-law of Eva Smith and George [Sally] Williams. Howard will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A private family graveside service will be held at Carrville Cemetery in the City of Vaughan. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Cold Springs Memorial Hall from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CNIB or St John's Ambulance Therapy Dogs.
