Peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Victor Lee. Loving mother of Ron (Virginia), Doris McLagan (Glenn), JoAnne Price, the late Ken (Helen) and the late John. Proud grandmother of Yvonne, Matthew, Karin, Garret, Kelly, Darryl, Gregory, Kristina, Ann and Tim, and great grandmother of Kayla, Pearl, Simon, Paul, Adam, Gil and Erin. Sister of the late Rose Desroches, the late John Wilde and the late Harold Wilde. A Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Thursday August 15, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation from 10:30 until service time. I always enjoyed chatting to Ellen at Friends at Ten at St. Peter's. I once demanded to see her birth certificate as she never looked her age! She was a lovely lady and made many contributions to our Prayer Shawl Ministry. I send my condolences to her family,
I was so sorry to hear of Ellen s passing. She was a lovely lady and I will miss her dearly. I met her 38 years ago when I was selling Avon. We became good friends and remained good friends for years. I have many happy memories of Ellen and her friends Flo..Mabel and Jeanette as a group. In recent years I have visited her at St Peter s court and have had lots of contact through St Peter s. I will miss her smile and her friendship.
